Primal Parent started as a simple group chat. I was a few months postpartum, navigating new motherhood, and I wanted a space where women—friends, sisters, and clients—could learn from each other.
As a doula and birth photographer for five years before becoming a parent myself, I had a front-row seat to the world of birth and parenting in a way most new moms never do. So many of my closest friends and colleagues are in the birth world—midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, bodyworkers—and have access to an overwhelming amount of knowledge that most parents don’t get to see. That never sat right with me. I wanted to create a space where that wisdom was available to all, not just those in the birth world.
Society has set us up to parent in a silo, starting with conception. Because of this, it’s difficult to discern scientific research from unbiased evidence. But we were never meant to parent in isolation. Parenting is biological, physiological, and communal—it was always meant to be witnessed and shared. Think of this digital commune as your own leak into the real lives of mothers parenting from within. And when we parent from within, we tend to be high nurturers.
Right off the bat, I want to get across:
• We are high nurture.
• We are intuition-based.
• We value evidence-based approaches over selective “science.”
From sleep and feeding to birth and postpartum recovery, we look at how things were meant to be—how they originated—before layers of modern interference changed the physiological and biological processes that define early parenthood.
This is not a parenting philosophy. It’s a way of being.
We get a lot of questions about what’s offered in Primal Parent—so here’s everything you need to know.
A Private Online Community—a dedicated space (not social media) for deep, real conversations with like-minded parents
Live & Recorded Classes + Expert Q&As—topics include instinct-led parenting, birth, postpartum, and more
Resource Library—on trusting your intuition at every stage
Mom-to-Mom Support—a space to ask for and offer advice, share wins and struggles, and connect with parents who get it
Opportunities for In-Person Meetups—these are in the works as we grow
Yes, there is a membership fee of $375 for the year, which gives you access to the full community, including all classes, content, and private discussions. This fee helps sustain the space, ensuring we can offer high-quality content and bring in incredible experts.
